ABOUT US

Sievert Association is a non-governmental and non-profit association established for achieving objectives in the area of promotion and popularization of knowledge and science.

The objectives of Sievert Association are: to promote knowledge and science, to popularize science, to encourage scientific and professional activities, to exchange scientific knowledge and information, to organize and realize international professional and scientific cooperation, to protect the environment with a special focus on the protection from ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.

In order to achieve its objectives, the Association:

1. initiates and organizes professional and scientific meetings (congresses, conferences, symposiums, counseling sessions, seminars, trainings, summer schools, continuing education) independently or in cooperation with other organizations;

2. initiates and organizes popular lectures, panel discussions, round tables, and other events of professional and scientific character independently or in cooperation with other organizations;

3. translates, edits and publishes professional and scientific journals, internet presentations, books and other publications;

4. cooperates with universities, schools, professional associations and other domestic and foreign organizations in the area of promotion and popularization of knowledge and science.
